The White Bear Lake (WBL) Lions Club Show was in 1946, just one year after the club started. The club missed performing in 1950 for an unknown reason. The club while researching the facts to archive each show year, it was discovered that the 1950 show was skipped. The club learned this until after they performed the 50th annual show so the club created and performed the 59th and a half-year show!
The Annual Lions Club Show is solely managed and run by WBL Lions club members and volunteers that provide many hours of service where proceeds are returned to the WBL community. The club generally performs the show each springtime around March after many months of dance, song, costume, and script rehearsals. The show serves as a fundraising event that is the attraction for widespread family and friends as well as other Lion Clubs and local community leaders. Many club members have had or currently do have generations of service volunteers that tie the fellowship of their service together. The club proudly serves this event to support the WBL community.
