If the heart and soul of Lionism is the helping of other people and the community, then fundraising is the heartbeat of the club. Here are some of the ways that our club raises funds:
Annual Stage Show – The Annual Stage Show is an original musical comedy written, directed, and performed by Lions Club members, their family and friends.
The Bear Water Run – This is a 10 or 20 mile run around White Bear Lake. It is a perfect tune-up for the Twin Cities Marathon.
Marketfest Games – There are several Thursday evenings during the summer in downtown White Bear Lake at a family festival where we operate carnival games of skill, and operate a parking lot at US-Bank on 2nd Street.
Charitable Gambling – The White Bear Lake Lions Club maintains pull tab operations at the following locations:
Concession Stand – The Concession stand is at the South Campus athletic field. We open it for track meets in the spring, the Special Olympics, Relay for Life, Soccer and Football Games and any other time the school wants it open.
