2008 Bear Water Run (8th Annual)

Because of growing popularity of the Bear Water Run,
we are limiting the race to the first 1200 registrants.

Brief Description: Are you looking for that perfect training run before the Twin Cities Marathon? How about a scenic jaunt around beautiful White Bear Lake? This Race offers: Champion Chip Race Results; USATF Certified Course; Water/Gatorade stops every two miles; Abundance of food during & at end of race; Great t-shirt: short sleeve / 10 mile, long sleeve / 20 mile; Age group awards for top finishers; Race is sponsored by the White Bear Lake Lions Club to benefit multiple charitable organizations. Closes: September 10th, 2008 11:59 PM Pacific Time Directions: From St. Paul take 35 E north to Highway 96. Turn right to Highway 61. Turn left going North to Highway 96. Turn right on Highway 96, go about 2 blocks to Ramsey County Beach on Right hand side Registration in front of beach house. Parking available at Ramsey Beach, West Park, and local streets. Race number and chip packet pickup will be at the White Bear Lake Armory from 6:00 - 9:00PM on September 12th, 2008.  The Armory is located at 2228 4th Street in downtown White Bear Lake. Race number and chip pickup will resume at Ramsey County Beach starting at 6:30 AM the day of the race. The race does not shut down until everyone that wants to has crossed the finish line! Outdoor beach shower and scenic public beach to be enjoyed following race with family and friends.
